Client Portfolio
Tier Key — What the Scores Mean
These bands describe each client's CMA maturity score shown in the table below.
Emerging
SCORE <40
Foundational protections are missing or ad hoc. The business is highly exposed and most risk is unmanaged — the priority is standing up the basics: MFA, backups, endpoint protection, and patching.
Developing
SCORE 40–59
Core protections are going in, but coverage is uneven and reactive. Meaningful gaps remain and the program still leans on individuals rather than repeatable, documented process.
Established
SCORE 60–74
A defined security program is in place, with most foundational and fundamental controls implemented and documented. Testing, monitoring, and governance are present but still maturing.
Advanced
SCORE 75–84
Controls are implemented, tested, and monitored, with active risk governance and metrics. The organization can demonstrate its posture to auditors and insurers.
Optimized
SCORE 85+
A mature, continuously improving program. Risk is governed at the leadership level and the business operates at a defensible, insurable, best-practice standard.
